Our OH&S training program ensures all cleaners are fully trained and aware of all aspects of identifying and preventing any potential OH&S issues. As a minimum, Shining Knight Cleaning`s activities and products will comply with legal requirements. To maintain our zero record of OH&S incidents, Shining Knight Cleaning will: Provide and maintain healthy and safe work areas and equipment;
Review work areas, equipment and work methods, to improve further safety and health, in the belief that all injuries and occupational illnesses can be prevented; Provide systems of services to prevent accidental releases, spillage’s and seek to eliminate over time all other discharges to air, water and land that may be harmful to the environment; Provide health, safety and environmental training for employees; Employ only those contractors who attain the same health, safety and environmental standards as Shining Knight Cleaning Provide products which are able to be used safely, without endangering the health of users or others, and which can be used in a way that does not harm the environment; Develop and maintain emergency procedures, which, in the event of an accident, minimises any harmful effects.
All managers, supervisors and contractors are accountable for health, safety and environmental performance in their areas.
All employees have a responsibility to follow rules for safe and healthy operations and to report hazards to their supervisors. Everyone is expected to use all their skills and knowledge to improve safety and to protect the environment.
